Global PSR Approach & Team

Packaging, specifically food packaging, must be absolutely safe. Taking this as key element, we have implemented global PSR (Product Safety + Responsibility) standards regarding our printing inks starting already at an early stage of ink development. We cover all regions with qualified, local product safety experts due to a decentralized structure and have key PSR contacts in place in each region. As a result, we are able to offer competent support including short communication channels for external but also internal requests. Consequently, we follow the approach of a “direct face” to our customers.

On corporate level, we have established our global PSR team – short for Product Safety + Responsibility. This is our center of global expertise, bundling together our entire competencies and providing PSR governance across Siegwerk with beneficial and easy understandable information to both our customers and our workforce. Besides this, our PSR approach encompasses an in-depth customer support. Our services in this area include practical guidance on how to produce safe and compliant packaging solutions, information on regulations and brand owner requirements as well as help with questions and training on important product safety topics.
